About David Dean Schwartz, L.S.W.

I received my bachelor's degree from Northwestern University in 1991, with an inter-departmental major in communications and audio production. Most of my career in the audio industry seems ages ago, although I still teach courses in audio production at universities in Philadelphia.

I always fell naturally into the role of listener and counselor, and eventually found my way back to school to study formally, completing a master's degree in clinical social work at Widener University.

I have returned to Widener to pursue a doctoral degree in Human Sexuality, which I hope to complete in 2008.

I hold a license to practice social work in Pennsylvania, and memberships in the Pennsylvania Society for Clinical Social Work (PSCSW), the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT), the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA), and the Alpha Phi Social Work Honor Society.
